Spring Projects

Spring is on the doorstep! The robins have arrived. I saw one sitting on the fence the other day after we got 5 inches of snow, with his/her feather's all fluffed out, trying to keep warm. If I was reading the bird's mind correctly, he/she was wishing they had waited a bit longer before heading north!
I am working on designs for some new soaps. Deciding which fragrances to use. I also want to work on some new recipes.
I made a couple of candles today. I only have one color cube (pink) so didn't make anymore. I ordered a sample pack of color cubes which should come by the end of the week, so, I will make a few other fragrances over the weekend.
I have been doing a lot of thinking lately about my business and am considering changing the name back to LydiaMarie's Bath & Body Boutique. That is the name I obtained through legal means by filing for ficticious name, paying all associated fees, however, it has been longer than 5 years since I did so and I never renewed. Perhaps I will just start all over and use a different name. I am feeling a bit restless because I have an opportunity to open a brick and mortar store, which I have wanted for a very long time, but, alas, do not have the finances to move forward. I am praying for God's guidance and direction. If it is His will for me to have the store, He is more than capable of providing the necessary funding. I have to make a decision as soon as possible as it will be considerable work making enough products to fill a store. The current shop owner will not be leaving until the end of May, so, there is still time.
